Talk:Whackpedia - "Whack out Ideas"
From Whackpedia
if I have a research topic, what will be the confidence that I will have a quality discussion here? There is a lot of possibility that my discussion would end like a normal discussion in Yahoo Answers or Answers.com.
To summarize, what is the USP of Whackpedia?
The participants in the discussion here include people like myself from Stanford University. Furthermore, this is a work in development, and we are working on new algorithms that will improve the quality, however, in order to monitor and improve the quality we first need to see track the discussion patterns that Whackpedia will take up. We would like people to respond to topics only if they have something to actually say about it, unlike Yahoo Answers. This is not a question and answer session, it is a real collection of thoughts and ideas to be worked upon. In fact, the idea is to find new and better answers to old questions. It is innovation and also a necessity if we are to get beyond our differences.
Examples of USP of other companies:
Head & Shoulders: "You get rid of dandruff"
Olay: "You get younger-looking skin"
Red Bull: "Gives you wiiings"
Ronseal: "Does exactly what it says on the tin"
Some unique propositions that were pioneers when they were introduced:
Domino's Pizza: "You get fresh, hot pizza delivered to your door in 30 minutes or less -- or it's free."
FedEx: "When your package absolutely, positively has to get there overnight"
M&M's: "The milk chocolate melts in your mouth, not in your hand"
Wonder Bread: "Wonder Bread Helps Build Strong Bodies 12 Ways"
Whackpedia: "Brings the best ideas together from around the world"
